About Still Waters - the short film.
Directed by Katia Café-Fébrissy.
Katia Café-Fébrissy directed the film version of the short play Still Waters in Canada, with the assistance of the Canada Council for the Arts. I worked on the script remotely - but the discussions with Katia were nuanced, intriguing, and ultimately led to a richer story, driven by her casting choices. It was shot in Canada in March of 2023, and premiered at the 25th Annual Reel Out Film Festival on February 10th 2024, at The Screening Room, 120 Princess St, Kingston, Ontario K7L 5M6.
STILL WATERS at the Canadian Film Fest!
The film was also screened at the Canadian Film Fest, at the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto - and will be at another festival soon, which I'll announce when they send out the official press release!
